Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Drink

I have allergy problems.

And no, I’m not talking about food. I’m talking about good ol’ hayfever, dogs and cats, and pollen.

I didn’t used to have them, but there seems to be a gene in my family that awakens after you turn 25. Sneezy, itchy, running noses. It’s not pretty.

I know this might be TMI, but the post-nasal drip is the worst.

And nothing works to get rid of it. Well, I should say that nothing worked. I’ve tried every essential oil combo out there, air purifiers (which do help a little), and echinacea/mullein pills, but the only thing that has made my nasty nose dripping go away is this Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Drink.

I was visiting family in Vista, California when my allergies/maybe a cold? struck. (I’m not sure which is which anymore.) I was miserable AND I had that doggone nose thing to deal with. On vacation. In sunny Southern California.

My nose is itchy just thinking about it.

My husband’s aunt was talking to me about her daily apple cider vinegar routine and asked if we wanted to try some. I’m a health nut (kind of obvious), so of course I said yes. I had no idea what I was getting into.

And literally, within two hours, my drippy nasty nosey thing was GONE.

Angels are among us.

I kept taking this concoction all week when the nasty would come back, and then it would be gone again. So awesome. I also drink this every morning when I’m on one of my let’s-lose-weight-in-three-weeks-and-die-exercising kicks. I think it helps.

This definitely has a strong kick to it. I like to call it my “Strong Drink.” You’ve gotta be strong to swallow that. You have been warned.
