Paleo Substitutes Baking Conversion Charts
Have you ever been out of an ingredient for a recipe? Or maybe you can’t have a certain ingredient? How do you find Paleo substitutes?
What do you do?
Throughout all of my years of baking, I had to research ingredients and substitutes. And every time, I wished I had an easy guide to Paleo substitutes.
So I made it!
The Complete Paleo Substitute Baking Conversions Chart, with Paleo substitutions for everyday ingredients, including Paleo ingredients you might not have yet! I’ve converted many recipes over from non-Paleo, including my Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe, and my Butter Biscuits.
This set of Paleo Baking Conversion Charts contains 4 comprehensive charts, naming general substitutes/substitute amounts for non-paleo and paleo ingredients:
- Flours and Starches
- Oils and Fats
- Egg Substitutes
The charts include conversions for the following ingredients:
- Almond flour
- Coconut flour
- Cassava flour
- Tigernut flour
- Coconut oil
- Coconut butter
- Olive oil
- Maple Syrup
- Egg substitutes
(Note: These substitutes work pretty well when only ONE ingredient is being substituted. If you are substituting more than one ingredient, pay attention to dry/liquid amounts because your recipe may not convert well if too dry/too wet.)
These charts are available as a PDF download. To print on an 8 1/2 x 11 please select “Fit to Page” if printing for best results. To print card size, select multiple per page in your printer dialog window.
