Creamy Asparagus Pea Soup

Ingredients
  • Creamy Paleo Asparagus Pea Soup
  • 20 spears of Asparagus
  • 3 cups of Green Peas
  • ¾ cup Raw Cashews
  • 6 cups of Water
  • Real Salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Measure water into a medium pot and turn on stove top heat to medium high
  2. Pour peas and cashews into water and then add asparagus.
  3. Bring to a boil and let cook for approximately 15-20 minutes.
  4. Remove from stove top and ladle hot liquids into a Blendtec blender. Blend for 60-90 seconds or until completely smooth. (You may consider straining this if you cannot get the mixture smooth enough as asparagus has a very stringy quality.)
  5. Return soup to pot and place on stove top for another 10-15 minutes.
  6. Remove from stove and allow to cool before serving.Enjoy!
