Paleo Rosemary Chicken Drumsticks

Rosemary is one of my favorite herbs. And it completes this fantastic Paleo Rosemary Chicken Drumsticks meal. I wouldn’t have this meal any other way.

Rosemary is strong and savory, and you can put it with any meat or vegetable for an amazing dish. It compliments Italian herbs like basil and oregano, if you’re wanting more flavor in some of your dishes, but it also does well on its own.

Even though I use dried rosemary in this recipe, I love fresh rosemary the best! It’s milder in flavor and has a bit of earthiness to it, so if you have room for a rosemary plant in your garden or windowsill, I highly recommend it, especially with this recipe for Paleo rosemary chicken drumsticks.

Dried rosemary, on the other hand, has a sharp flavor and is very pungent. I bought a 1 lb bag of rosemary over 3 years ago, and I have probably only used half of the bag.

And I cook a lot, so it’s not like I haven’t been using it.

If you want to stock up on dried rosemary, Starwest botanicals has an amazing deal on amazon. I find that stocking up on herbs that I can’t dry myself saves me A TON of money, and for those of you interested in food storage, having a pound of rosemary around when the apocalypse hits will really add flavor to the dried foods stored in your basement. Follow the picture below for more info!

I also just love rosemary with chicken. It’s so tasty!

Doesn’t that look delicious? We usually buy our organic chicken drumsticks from Costco (wholesale organic chicken my friends!), but this week Sprouts provided for us (since I was just to doggone lazy to drive to two stores before making this recipe, which was incidentally my lunch that day).

This meal is seriously the easiest. And it doesn’t take too long to prep either, which makes my life a whole lot easier.
